was passiert, wenn sich vier freundinnen im besten alter an einen tisch setzen und in erinnerungen schwelgen? eine menge nostalgischer geschichten und anekdoten aus einer anderen zeit werden wohl zwischen lachen und weinen ans licht kommen. wenn diese vier freundinnen allerdings nicht irgendwelche damen sind, sondern geradezu ikonen des britischen schauspiels, wird aus einem gemütlichen nachmittags-plausch eine reise in eine goldene, turbulente vergangenheit. mit viel humor und ein wenig wehmut, doch ohne dabei den bezug zur gegenwart zu verlieren und mit einem klaren blick nach vorne erzählen judi dench, maggie smith, eileen atkins und joan plowright aus ihren, mitunter gemeinsamen erinnerungen und lassen den zuschauer an ihrer welt teilhaben. ein einfach unvergesslicher nachmittag!
