etwas melodischer und aufgrund des folgenden werktages auch etwas beschaulicher gestaltete sich der 2. tag des elevate festivals 06. die heimischen artists winterphonic und naos berieselten die im halbkreis sitzenden festivalgaeste mit feinen stimmen zu schweren grooves. der besuch der bosnischen reggae-hardcore-dub combo dubioza kolektiv verhinderte leider die lueckenlose berichterstattung erstgenannter.
um 1 uhr bestieg dann der etwas unscheinbar anmutende us-elektro-artist travis stewart aka machinedrum die buehne. seine fast 2-stuendige performance mit selbstgehauchten vacoder-mikrophon-noise effekten begeisterte ob ihrer ruhe und trotz downtempo eindeutig das publikum, das sich in minutenlangen beifallbrigarden aeusserte.
auch der us-act jimmy edgar, der auf seinem herflug einen grossteil seiner plattensammlung einbuesste, machte nicht unbedingt tempo, dafuer umso mehr eindruck bei den festivalgaesten.
luke vibert (uk) erschien leider nicht zum diktat. grunde dafuer weiterhin schleierhaft. dafuer rockte lokalmatador cheever schon ein bisschen frueher und sehr ordentlich.
sehr interessierten seien ausserdem die elevate workshops ans herz gelegt. fussmuede koennen diese auch auf www.elevate.at via video-live-stream besuchen. allen gaesten weiterhin ein schoenes festival!
