Die Pilotfolge der neuen Serie rund um Simba`s Sohn Kion ist harmlose kindgerechte Unterhaltung auf hohem Niveau. Zwar erreicht die Pilotfolge nicht die Qualität eines „Der König der Löwen“ scheint diesen Anspruch aber auch gar nicht zu haben. Die Folge ebnet den Weg in eine Serie die ruhigen Gewissens auch den kleinsten präsentiert werden kann. Es wird gesungen, gelacht und die Tierwelt Afrika`s nähergebracht. Es bleibt gespannt abzuwarten welche Abenteuer auf Kion, Banga, Fuli, Beshti & Ono im Verlauf der Serie (Samstags und Sonntags um 08.55 im Disney Channel) noch warten werden. Absolute Empfehlung für unsere Kleinsten und „König der Löwen“-Fans.
