neues jahr, neues glück? nix da, jahreszahlen sind in der welt von cyan, magenta, yellow und key nur schall und rauch, und so machen cmyk mit dem club pompadour dort weiter, wo sie 2007 aufgehört haben: bei
abwechslungsreicher, aber dennoch ausnahmslos tanzbarer clubmusik in top-qualität.
für den ersten termin im neuen jahr wurde einer der momentanen platzhirsche in der internationalen dj-szene verpflichtet: tobias becker, seines zeichens eines der aushängeschilder der kölner elektronik-szene, wird am 11. jänner die camera zum beben bringen.
seinen außergewöhnlichen sinn für wahre dancefloor-bomben beweist er seit mittlerweile zweieinhalb jahren in erster linie als betreiber der labels platzhirsch und kahlwild. für ersteres entdeckte er unter anderem
gabriel ananda's "doppelwhipper", das im leserpoll des groove-magazins zum besten track des jahres 2006 gewählt wurde. seit seinem erscheinen ist der track aus den plattenkoffern aller welt nicht mehr wegzudenken
-- inklusive dem remix von tobias becker selbst. nebenbei arbeitet im plattenladen von kompakt und sitzt somit direkt an der quelle, wenn es um frisches dj-futter geht.
der support kommt wie gehabt von den cmyk-residents philipp blecha, der im rahmen dieser platzhirsch night seinen geburtstag feiert, und thomas grün, sowie dem österreichischen elektronik-urgestein carl past. diese
kombination hat bereits im vorjahr prächtig funktioniert, der neujahrsvorsatz für den club pompadour kann also nur lauten: alles |
